On my team for our next project music video, are my friends that I work well with and that I know are reliable. My team mates are Malia Alo, Miranda Duarte, and Jb Araula. The song we chose the song Drop in the Ocean by Ron Pope. We chose this song because we had an idea that we all thought was cool that also went well with the song.

Our storyline for Drop in thew Ocean by Ron Pope, is that Miranda has all these friends and they leave her. But each friend leaves one at a time so Miranda gets really sad making even more friends leave her. Then Miranda ends up not having any friends left so she has a breakdown and all she can do is cry. While Miranda is in tears I notice her and comfort her. And ten all her friends come back to comfort her and I join their friend group.

I think so far this has been a successful, high quality project. There have been some bumps in the road to creating our music video like, we had to many mediums and wides so we didn't have sequencing which is required. Also one of our team members was off island when our team first where supposed to meet up so we had to film with out him. Another problem or issue I had was that I wasn't really getting help with the band poster. But that problem was fixed by talking to my team.

Movie Trailer Premier

We will be making 90-120 second not real movie trailer that interest your audience without giving away the ending. Along the the trailer we must have an original movie poster and provide the audience with the highest level of production value so people can't help but say I gotta watch that. Our teams story is about a little girl and her mother. Her mom was a mermaid so she left so the girl grew up not wanting to go in the water.When she conquers her fears and goes into the water and magically grows a tail. Scared, the girl runs to her dad and asks him to explain. She realizes that her mom was a mermaid the whole time. Then she runs to the water to begin her search.

I feel the hardest part of this project was deciding on an idea to make a movie trailer about. Beside this idea I had an idea that I really wanted to do. But the rest of the team liked our current idea. So I did my best to support the teams decision and I had to realize that it wasn't always going to get my way. But our team has been affective at communication, that help our project run smoothly.

We critiqued our movie trailers on Thursday April 6 of 2017 so yesterday. I feel the our critique went well. Our movie trailer was voted a couple of times for the best but was not voted enough to make it into the top three movie trailers. when making this project I learned how much work, time, and effort real movie trailer makers have to do. It was difficult but easy to arrange times that fit peoples prier plans so you have to be flexible and understanding to get this project to work. But overall it was fun to work with people I don't normally work with and it helped me get out of my usual habit of working with the same people.

 

Geometric Portraits

I believed that facial expressions or universal. According to a article in google called six universal expressions says that there are, six classified universal facial expressions. Universal facial are facial expressions that are easy to read. The six classified universal facials are disgust, sadness, happiness, fear, anger, and surprised.

First I had to decided what picture I wanted to use for this project. Then you have to import your picture in to photoshop. Then after it's in you're document use the use the shape tool and make appropriately sized triangles. Then use the polygonal lassos tool and select all you're triangles. Then blur the selected triangles and you're done.

When doing the different methods of doing poly portraits, I figured out that when you customize it it looks more realistic and well better.  I feel the further along I got the better they looked. Also the first poly I did was taken on a lower quality camera. I felt that when using a higher quality camera I came out with a higher quality product. I think that in my last poly portrait I will be able to make my project look at it's best quality and fix things i didn't like in my first ones.

Verbal Landscapes

I interact with nature by going outside and being be things that civilization has not touched very much. Nature impacts my life because nature is calming to me and peaceful. It's also a place where you can be you and express your self. It's also help me forget about any stress or problems I could be having. Nature is a place where i'm not afraid or impressed to be myself.

Environmental tripods are objects that nature proved that keep the camera still while film. Environmental tripods are important when filming timelapses and slow-mos because when filming every shake of the camera is shown when your when you speed up the clips. Slow-mos are still important to make sure that your shots are still because when slowing it down shows all mistakes that you could have made and not released.

The hardest part of this project for me was editing. Editing was hard for me because it's just really time consuming. Because the clips where so long it takes final cut pro a long time for it to load. When the clips don't load quickly it takes time away which i could be using to improve and make it better. My favorite part of this project was filming the timelapses and slow-mos. That was my favorite part of filming was I got to do it with friends.

When reviewing my project I saw thing that I could have fixed. Reviewing our projects is us filling out a grading sheet when watching our videos and determine peoples grades. My video 2 people said my video was excellent, 14 said I met our goal, and 11 said I was developing. I personally gave myself a 2 because I saw some things that I wasn't happy with. For example some of the words timing was a little off. but overall I'm happy how smooth this project went.

Poetic Personal Statement

 Poetry is how a person expresses how they feel. People write poetry different. Some may use sentence, some may rhyme, and others may just be a long sentence. Poetry can be personal by if someone is feeling a certain mood they well express themselves and their feelings on paper. For example if someone is sad or depressed there poem will probably be sad or depressed.It's a great way to express yourself with out being judged.

Glam can be bland

Rhythm is a strong or regularly repeated pattern pattern of sound or movement. Rhyme is a strong or regularly repeated pattern pattern of sound or movement. For my poetic statement I used rhyme.

Animated Life Lessons Label

 When first assigned this project we had to work with people we haven't worked with. I was in a all girl group with Cara and Kacie. Cara personal traits is a perfectionist. She pretty much tries to make every thing prefect.   Kacie was a super nerd in our story.

 When Kacie, Cara, and I were work to we needed are animation to have a lesson. But we also wanted it to be funny. We agreed on the lesson would be that no one is perfect. Our animation wasn't really funny. We were more focused on turning it in.

 When I was working with my new friends it was easier but also harder. Since we haven't work together before we had to figure out what each other could do. But we got through that pretty quickly. It was easier to work with them because we weren't as distracted. Overall I think working with them was a new experience and I think are project turned out pretty good.

 When we planing what we wanted the audience to see for our music video it was difficult. But we got threw it and we came up with a office scene. We need our visuals to match to the song Dangerous Women by Arianna Grande. It was mostly about these The music turning all these girls crazy.The only person who can stop the girl is a boy.

  We have lots of fast editing scene. But I have a favorite scene. It is when Isaac was wearing a wig. We had him turn around and then we made the part in slow motion. It is one of the funniest scenes in the music video my opinion.

I feel that this project showcases all that we learned over the school year. I feel that because we learned how to improve the quality of our work. It also is one of our best project.I feel that this is one of our best project because we used different techniques. And I'm really happy it turned out the way it did.

Character Development Label

 If people describe me the may say I'm funny smart. But I describe My self a bit differently. I might describe myself as award or a out caste always trying to fit in. One in perfection I have is that I, can tend to be kind of sassy. I don't try to but some times it just comes out. It's just who I am.

 When I'm animating my character I want it to have some of my traits. I tend to always be tired. So when I'm editing I want my character to be tired.I'm also not a morning person so nether will my character. I'm also fashionable so I want my animation to love cloths,shoes, etc.

  There are some easy and hard steps for making a GIF. Step one was to take three pictures of our selfs, front,back, and side angle. Step two, we had to import and cut out our photos in photoshop. And last one of the hardest steps for me was to puppet warp. At lest it was for me. It was confusing and I got lost along the way, but I got it done and I think it turned out ok.

Keywords are one word that is going to be in all the scenes in the in the ting your filming. For instance In school my team and I are making a movie trailer. Our movie trailer my friend Coral is a online girl that always has to be online. So we thought about these words Determination ,Passion, Active, Commitment, Fears, overcoming, struggles, love, and belief. We chose these words because we felt like this is something we care about.

In our movie trailer, we felt like of course we wanted it to be funny, but we also wanted our audience to learn something from it. So my team and I came up with don’t be afraid to try new things, because sometimes you get something good out of it. We chose this because we felt it's so that's very true and that sometimes you need a little push to try new things. When making this movie trailer I learned that it's not that easy to make a movie trailer. There was a little bit of arguing but we got it done.

When my team and I where filming our movie trailer we had some bumps in the road to making a great movie trailer. One bump we hit is that we didn't get our plan approved be for we started filming.Another bump we hit was that because we didn't get our plan approve before we filmed our teacher made some changes and we had to shoot it again.

Tiny Spherical Worlds Label

A composite image a visual element made of multiple parts to make it look like it’s part of the same scene.In other words it is a fictional image or something that isn't happening. For example a single woman could not lift a car by her self. A composite picture can make a image more interesting. It can also create various tips of emotions.


There is a small difference between polar and spherical pano pictures. First of all spherical is like that your trapped in a world. A polar pano looks like your standing on a world. It also looks like a snow glob. There is more steps for polar to create the picture.

If your making a tiny world you have to make it look convincing.You may ask how to make it look convincing. Will the answer id simple. First and most important is to use the stamp tool in photoshop. The stamp tool can copy a part of a image and you can paint the part you copied to the part you want to cover.

Hockney Style Joiners

My photomontages are different then David Hockney’s photomontages because he takes of landscapes. While mine are people and objects. He makes shapes and curves. Mine doesn't make shapes or curves. He also uses a lot more pictures. I've only used the maximum 25 photos.

An image can send a positive or negative message by the colors they use. For example red can make people feel angry. In Vincen Vango Stary Night it's a very dark scene.One way to make people happy is taking a image of something that makes you feel good. Like love because who doesn't love love

I intend for my audience to feel happy when they look at my photo. I want my audience to tell my personality based on my photo. I would say that my photo says that I like soft fuzzy things. Some people my feel made because the bear is red, but that is not my intentions. I feel that my photos will make people feel happy.

 

2016 Aspirations

Some goals that I have for 2016 is to get better grades in school specifically science. Another other goals I have this year are to spend more time with my friends and family. One other goal is montage my grades. One of my last goal is to be a better surfer. And my last goal is to convince my mom to let me get a dog.

The most important goal to me would get better grades in science. This goal is important to me because my grade right now in her class I have a B, and that means I'm at grade level. But I would like a A in her class because if I get a A I would be a straight A student. I would have a 4.0 average.If had a 4.0 average I would be so happy. And it would be great because in third quarter the grades dip so if I got straight it would great.

Step one for getting straight A's are to study hard for test. Step two is to focus in class. Step three is to not talk to friends when my teacher is explaining directions. Step four for getting straight A's are to be quiet. Step five the final step is to kind.

Scratch Game Design

User experience influenced my game because I thought about my playing this game and I didn't want to make it boring. I thought that it still should be something that you would see in a book but hasn't bin told. I didn't want my game to be easily so I made it when you got to a certain amount of points it would get harder. But when I was building my game all I thought about was would it interesting for the players.

The features in each game are very different. All the features in each game are different.There were some really difficult and high tec things. Some weren’t as hard to make like mine.But there were really good and they were all really fun.


My best code is in my freedom game. It is my best code because there are so many levels. I also think it is my best game because I had experience with other coding and so I kind of know what i’m doing. The most difficult bug fix was making a second level. It was difficult because I had to figure out how to make the transition smooth.

Invention Commercial

My team's main goal for this assignment was to inform and get people interested about this product that we made. I don't know if we got people interested but I would buy the product speaking with a girl with curly hair. The product we made was a spray that would turn curly hair straight without heat. Of course it wouldn't your hair straight forever but it will last longer the a regular strainer. Would you buy this product?

I think one of the best team moments was when we were filming, because we had a lot of fun but unfortunately we didn't film a lot because we all had such different schedules. And when Akasha and I were free Miranda was not. By the way Akasha and Miranda are the to other girls in my group who are also my best friends. But any way back to the best team moment. We would are joke around and I swear it took the longest time to get my hair look like it was that big of a mess. Over all filming was the best but next time I'm sure that were going to do more filming and make more good memories.

When the team and I were editing we all help. Akasha was in charge of visuals. Whats lets be honest there wasn't much of. But she still made it look great. Miranda was in charge of of sound.Witch is really all we had. I just made sure every thing was in the right place and made little suggestions here and there. But in the end we got some really big help.

Composition Scavenger Hunt

I feel like antis eye is the most important because it was the one my class was the most confused with. Antis eye like any techniques has multiple techniques , such as ground level and low angle. This could be why the class was so confused. Only 58.6 percent of the class got it right witch is 17 out of 29 that's not a lot.

I feel like my team and I had a hard time get all the clips into imovie and editing. We need help needed a lot of help with importing the clips we shot.We we're also short on time so we had a limited chooses. Some of are clips weren't as good but we didn't have enough time to reshot it so we kept it and it wasn't that bad.The only thing I wish I could change was that the music was to loud so you couldn't hear all the words we were saying.


My teammates for this project were Miranda and Akasha. We are good friends which made the project funner or harder what ever you want to call it. Miranda stared in parts of a hole but every one stared in at lest one shot. With everyone staring we all had to take turns filming.

Cracking the Code

I think every one should learn code. It doesn't matter what your going to be it's helpful no matter what your planning to do. It can't hurt to try .It's a lot of fun when you get the hang of it.

When I first experienced code it was easy at first. Then it started to intrude harder problems to solve. It showed tools to help make the problems easier. For intensest instead of putting move forward five time you could just have a block that moves forward the amount of times you need it. the more time I put in to coding the more I felt like I could design a game or app that would sell. As a kid I would download games and be so unsatisfied. Some times when my birthday came around and I would treat my self to a game, and I would think that it wasn't worth what I paid.

If I could design a app I would design a fashion app. It would have a camera on it where you can take a picture of yourself and your closet and it will pick out an outfit for you. Say you going to a event and you can't figure out what to wear.

I learned so many things from this project like how to operate a camera. I also learned how to stay organized in my computer. Another thing I learned was how to import video clips in to imovie. Another thing I learned was that you have to get things done earlier than later. The most important thing I learned is to be safe then sorry. You may think that it won't happen to you but it might.

Pad in the extra time at the end of a clip or video. Pad important because you never know if you clip is going to be cut short.Another resign pad is important is because it makes sure that the last word you say is't cut. Pad is important because it makes the movie better. It also helps import the movie.

I had a hard time with getting visuals for my clips. Another thing I had a weakness on was time. One strength I had was I had a much of helpers. I waited till the last minute So it was hard to get my visuals. The last thing I had trouble with taking my time. I was rushing.
